Thrakon inaugurated its sixth factory in Greece. The new factory, located in the area of Oinofyta, has an annual production capacity of 300 thousand tons and has been designed following the best industrial practices.
Additionally, the new unit features vertical production, starting from the crushing of calcium carbonate, grinding, and producing various fractions, and finishing with the mixing and packaging of the final product.
The design of the new factory started in March 2018 and lasted 3 years, with excavation and construction beginning in January 2022.

During the event, Emmanuel Papadakis, the CEO of Thrakon, stated: “We are proud to inaugurate the most modern cement production factory in Greece, as this is the culmination of our dedication to the market and the growth prospects we look forward to, both for the company and the country as a whole. It is our constant commitment to provide high-quality and valuable products, and our new unit will contribute even more towards this direction.”
