Nokia Solutions & Networks Hellas reported a profit of €7 million, up 71.3% y-o-y in 2022, despite stagnating sales, which remained at €109.2 million.
The company, which is active in the construction and maintenance of telecommunications networks and the provision of telecommunications research and development services, has remained focused on accelerating the country’s digital transformation, and modernizing the network infrastructure in the Greek market.
ACTIONS
Nokia has gained a significant market share in the fiber optic network segment. At the same time, it has participated in new projects aimed at modernizing critical infrastructure in the country. It has also made a series of investments in new software production lines and new technologies, such as 5G through its Research and Technology Centre in the country, highlighting the Finnish parent company’s confidence in the Greek market.
Also, the company has adapted its operating model to a new structure with the main objective of providing better and more efficient service to its customers worldwide, optimizing its operations and creating added value for its shareholders.
OBJECTIVES
Nokia’s strategic objective remains that of further strengthening its presence in the Greek telecommunications market, as well as in the markets of the wider Balkan region, and also ts cutting-edge software development center in Greece. Emphasis is placed on the recruitment of Greek engineers, strengthening its existing structure and new production lines of cutting-edge software related to cloud native and decentralized architectures, that are consistent with its existing and future product structures globally.
