With a new investment program, Mitos Distillery plans to expand the production potential of its distillery.
According to information, the company’s management plans to strengthen the capacity of its facilities in Thesprotiko, Preveza through a new investment plan that concerns the installation of new aging barrels and mechanical equipment.
The distillery already has a state-of-the-art multiple distillation still.
PORTFOLIO
The company’s portfolio includes spirits based on the Roditis and Hamburg Muscat varieties:
• tsipouro 40% alcohol in 500ml, 200ml and 50ml bottles
• aged tsipouro in 500ml bottles, which was distinguished last year with the Gold Medal at the London Spirits Competition 2024 and at the international alcoholic beverage competition Spirits Selection by CMB 2024
It is worth mentioning that the vineyards are located in Papadates, Preveza.
HORECA & RETAIL
The products are available in wineries and restaurants as well as selected retail outlets, both in Athens and in the region. They are also in discussions to expand distribution points in retail, specifically in wineries.
EXPORTS
Although there are currently no exports, according to the company’s management, the expansion of production capacity through investments will lay the foundation for sales outside Greece.
