Corinth Pipeworks has signed three contracts with Subsea 7 for projects for Aker BP.
The contracts comprise one for the Yggdrasil field development project, regarding the supply of 103km of 23 and 26-inch straight seam submerged arc welded (LSAW) steel pipes, and two for the Hanz gas field discovery project, one for the supply of 58km for 18-inch high-frequency welded (HFW) steel pipes for the Skarv Satellite (SSP) satellite project and one for the supply of 17km and 14-inch HFW steel pipes.
The Yggdrasil field development project is located between the Alvheim and Oseberg areas in the North Sea.
Three subsea tie-backs in the Skarv area in the Norwegian Sea collectively constitute the Skarv Satellite (SSP) project, while the Hanz project will be connected to the Ivar Aasen platform which will have both production and water injection facilities.
